About the position
This full-time remote role is for an Upwork Sales Manager who will develop, maintain, and grow relationships with prospective and existing Upwork clients. As an Upwork Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth while providing an exceptional experience to our clients. You will work with our diverse team and possess the necessary skills in sales strategy, technology, and customer focus to thrive in this role.

Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining sales pipelines with a focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish strong relationships with clients, management, and co-workers.
- Ability to understand clients' needs, and tailor solutions to meet those needs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as in a team structure.
- Previous success within the Upwork platform is mandatory.

Responsibilities
- Written and verbal communication with leads.

- Working with lead generators to improve conversion and leads’ quality.
- Cooperation with other sales and recruiters to plan hiring and staffing.
- Collaborate with project managers to improve customer service.
